why produce a book about pick-ups at all, let alone custom pick-ups? They re
ugly, dirty, uncomfortable, limited in passenger space, usually knocked-about,
mis-treated, abused and generally undesirable as a means of personal transport.
There s certainly nothing intrinsically glamorous or classy about a pick-up
truck.
Well,
that may be the case in Britain and the rest of Europe, but in the USA the
lowly pick-up is viewed in an entirely different light. Americans, on the
whole, consider this breed of commercial workhorse to be socially acceptable in
